I dream about a day when I will buy myself one piece of cake from a shop passing by without thinking. I dream about having something of my own, of paying my own bills, helping back at home because I am capable and then I dreamt that I will do things on my own terms.

But those were the dreams, freedom for me is chasing behind my dreams with hope in my heart. Going above and beyond as I work and not justifying myself. Freedom is stepping outside of the house with my head held high.

Freedom was taught to me is something that will be granted to you. Freedom you will get if you behave responsibly. It is something you have to earn. But as I form my own opinion, freedom for me is not confirming to someone else idea and having my own set of beliefs and following it.

A prisoner even though is confined can still be free as the mind and heart is still their own. We are the one who decides what freedom mean to us and the set of restrictions we put on ourselves. If you decide you will fight for your voice, you are already liberated.
