The documentary exposes an infamous community known as Twin Flames Universe, which guarantees you they will help you find your true twin flame or your soulmate. The series explores real-life accounts of former Twin Flames members who admitted the true horror that lay within the confines of the community.

How they were manipulated, coerced, and exploited by the team leaders and were robbed of their time, money, and emotions.
Jeff and Shaleia started making the videos on YouTube in 2014 yet the organization was officially founded in 2017.

Twin Flame Universe is a community that guarantees to give you true love, life, and purpose and offers ‘The Twin Flame Ascension Course’ a paid online class for discussing the concept of “twin flames.” Apart from these, they have numerous different products like books and other courses that teach you meditation, healing, etc.,
The documentary touched base at first on who exactly are these two people who claim to be the love guru and lifestyle coach, Jeff and Shaleia claim to have spiritual powers that allow them to confirm who exactly is your twin flame.
Jeff formerly known as Ender Ayanethos from his childhood days wanted to be a billionaire and was interested in business, but none of his business plans had seen the success of the day until he met Shaleia.
Shaleia Ayan whose real name is Megan has given herself a new name after rediscovering herself on her spiritual journey. A free spirit person who after meeting with Jeff descends into a livelihood of teaching other people about spirituality. Jeff and Shaleia say their love connected them in a way that they have come into a harmonious union and want to help others find what they already have, all their vlogs show the happy and peaceful life they share together.
At first glance, it all sounds romantic and a life that most people would crave, and that is how the former associates describe why they started their journey with the community.
They had experienced a heartbreak, a hard time connecting with people and they wanted some hope or a space where they feel safe and loved. And that is what Jeff and Shaleia provided them.
But over a period of time even after getting through all the suggested courses and the exercises, when they weren’t getting the desired result they voiced out their opinion and at that time they were shamed and berated for not having the faith.

The influence Jeff had on his members was shown when on his suggestions they kept acting. Pursuing a person who isn’t interested in them, is coerced into being in a relationship with a person they don’t feel comfortable with, even questioning their sexual orientation. These members tell a heartbreaking story of the fear they faced and the pressure they felt to always be in the good grace of their leader.

The documentary also has interview clips with the family members who have lost their son, daughter, or sibling to Twin Flames as Twin Flames suggest that the Twin Flame universe Family is their true family and the people have cut ties with the families they have grown up with, the family members share the fall out between their family and how it might have been a ticking factor for the people to severe their ties but these families aren’t just mourning the loss of their loved ones. They have formed their own community to expose the truth about Twin Flames and their leaders.
Before watching the series, I hadn’t heard of this organization but to be fair I live in India which is seven continents away from Michigan where the leaders reside. Yet, I was surprised to find how far the reach of this community has spread.

The interviews were heartfelt and it was jarring to see how these people succumb to the point they couldn’t think for themselves. To watch these series as from the outside it seems unreal that how can one blindly trust someone to the point one can’t see right or wrong but these people at first were the friends of their victims, and there was a chain that has been formed. If the leaders manipulated some people to become their next associates, one would think these people at least would have an idea on what they were doing but that is not the case as the interview showed both the people at higher ranks and the interviews of people they have trained and coached. Everyone was following a manual failure of which would they need to face the wrath of the leader. A victim causes the same pain and fear to others and it goes on unquestioned for so long and that is what this documentary tried to unearth. The truth what is it? As currently the Twin Flames
Universe is still running with thousands of devoted followers and they claim that all these accusation are baseless and until and unless someone has an actual proof to back the statement they are making, life goes on.
